Bilbo Baggins, in the “Fellowship Of The Ring”, stated .

“It’s a dangerous business, Frodo, going out of your door… You step into the Road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there is no telling where you might be swept off to.”

 Its been my opinion for some time that the same exact thing could be said on the subject of writing. Its a dangerous business indeed to open one’s door and pen the opening words of a grand adventure. Though it’s also my opinion that some of the greatest novels ever penned have been done so by men that didn’t keep their feet and were thus swept away by the grandours of story.
